Chandigarh: Condemning the Centre’s unilateral choice to present extra powers to the Border Safety Power (BSF) inside 50 km belt alongside the worldwide border, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi referred to as the transfer a “direct assault on federalism”.
